Hiscox’s electronic sales system, INScribe, which allows brokers to quote and bind business without having to manually submit risks to underwriters, now boasts four new products.
You can now quote for and sell Professional Indemnity Insurance for estate agents, recruitment consultants and ‘other’ professions, which covers a wide range of occupations. These additions bring the total professions available to seven – the other three are accountants, IT consultancies, business and management consultancies, and marketing and media groups.
Also, Hiscox is now offering home office insurance exclusively on INScribe, meaning it’s even easier to cross-sell when providing clients with other business insurance. Many small businesses operate from home, and some clients incorrectly believe that their home office will be covered by their home insurance policy.
Hiscox home office insurance is specifically tailored for these home workers. Three cover options enable clients to choose the level they require, so they only pay for what they need. It provides cover for office contents (including portable equipment), increased costs of working, public and products liability and employer’s liability.
